A SINGLE mother has revealed that she gave her kids’ shared bedroom a mega makeover, whilst on a budget.
DIY fan Charz Z Love explained that she used bargain buys from the high-street to transform the once tired, grey bedroom, into a jungle oasis.

Charz explained that she also nabbed items second-hand on Facebook Marketplace to save cash, whilst ensuring her five and six-year-old boys had a stunning bedroom.
Thrilled with her DIY transformation, Charz took to social media to show it off, leaving many open-mouthed.
Posting on DIY On a Budget, a private Facebook group with a whopping 2.2 million members, Charz shared snaps of her sons’ finished bedroom and wrote: “My boys’ updated jungle room.”
Charz then told Fabulous: “I’m a single mum to two little ones so I tried to source some things second hand on Facebook Marketplace where I could (Ikea stuff is on there frequently).”
Charz also explained that prior to her transformation, the bedroom was very ‘tired’ and was in desperate need of an overhaul.
She confirmed: “Their room had a jungle theme beforehand but it was poorly painted, very tired with drawings on walls and scraped off paint.”
The savvy shopper then shared that she nabbed bargains from Amazon, Etsy and Ikea to keep her costs low and to transform the once plain room, into a fun space with a cool bunk bed and even a sitting area.
She confirmed that she bought the Kura Bed and a chest of drawers from Ikea.
The bedroom, which now has a cosy seating area, surrounded by plush animal toys, has been kitted out with Ikea chairs, with Charz found on Facebook Marketplace.
She also explained that she bought the bed curtain pole and curtain from Etsy, as well as tree stickers and chair covers, also from Etsy.
Charz has used green rugs to add to the jungle theme, which she confirmed were ordered from Amazon.
Around the room, Charz has decorated with plants, and she recommended Debenhams for the cheapest options.

The jungle bedroom is also complete with a large storage cube, which Charz nabbed from Argos, as well as storage cube boxes, which she bought from Amazon.
Not only this, but Charz also got her throws from Shein and her cushions from Amazon.
When it comes to the paint used, Charz confirmed that she used a Light Green Moss Eggshell paint from Dunelm.

Social media users were left open-mouthed at the bedroom makeover, and many took to the comments to express this.
One person said: “I absolutely love this!”
Another added: “This is gorgeous.”
