A WOMAN has revealed that she has given her once plain bedroom an epic makeover, whilst on a budget.
So if you want to give your home an overhaul, but haven’t got lots of spare cash to splash, then you’ve come to the right place.

DIY enthusiast Paula Bear Rimmer explained that she used bargain buys from Amazon, Dunelm and Homebase to transform her bedroom from drab to fab.
Paula, who lives in Reading, took to social media to show off a before and after look at her bedroom, leaving many totally stunned.
Posting on DIY On A Budget, a private Facebook group with a whopping 2.2 million members, Paula shared snaps of her bedroom before she got to work.
When she moved in, the room was once very plain – with beige wallpaper and grey carpet.
But thanks to some cheap buys from the high-street, and some upcycling, Paula was able to bring the space to life – and it’s now a stunning, super cosy room that many would be seriously envious of.
Discussing her DIY job, Paula penned: “Slowly doing up our new family home and just finished our master bedroom today.”
As she shared pictures of the finished bedroom, complete with panelling, green paint, new flooring and a fresh touch to the once tired wardrobes, Paula beamed: “I’m absolutely in love with it!”
She then claimed: “I love a bit of upcycling. Really pleased with how it all came together.
“It feels so calm.”
Paula told Fabulous that to create her panelled-style wall, she nabbed wood panel wallpaper, for £11.80 a roll, from Amazon.
She also used the Jersey Boy Frenchic paint, which she bought for £42.95, to give her ceiling and wardrobes a unique look.
To give the once white wardrobes and her dressing table a modern feel, Paula used self-adhesive rattan effect wallpaper, which she bought for £15 a roll from Dunelm.
Paula also shared that she got her curtains for £44.99 from Wayfair, her rattan floor lamp for £67.99 from Amazon and her bedside tables, also from Amazon, for £34.84 each.
I love it. I think I did well to keep costs down on a budget

Not only this, but this DIY fan even nabbed a free mirror for her dressing table, which she painted herself.
To accessorise the space, Paula used a gold plant pot, which she nabbed from Homebase for £10, as well as a hexagon gold tray, which was also £10, from Dunelm.
As well as this, in a bid to save money, rather than buying a brand new reed diffuser, Paula used an old wine bottle and tied some string around the top.
The savvy woman gushed: “I love it. I think I did well to keep costs down on a budget.”
‘IT LOOKS AMAZING’
Social media users were clearly impressed by Paula’s DIY bedroom makeover, and many took to the comments to express this.
One person said: “That looks fabulous. Gorgeous colours too.”
Another added: “Awesome job, looks very calming.”
