PERFUME can be pricey business – but with the rise of dupes, it’s becoming increasingly easier to smell boujie on a budget.
Among the perfume dupes leading the way are Zara, Aldi and Lidl– but there’s another well-loved store with copycat scents lurking on its shelves.

For just £3.99, you can pick up a number of dupes at B&M.
And that includes an imitation of Mugler Alien which shoppers have said “smells almost identical”.
The Exotic Affair Pour Femme EDT is part of the bargain store’s Scent Favourites line and comes in a 100ml bottle.
B&M bosses described it as a “sweet and sultry exotic elixir” with a fragrant blend of jasmine cashmeran and amber.
“A great gift for a special lady in your life and perfect for evening wear,” they said.
Shopper Nicole Ellise took to Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK to put others on to the under-the-radar perfume.
“It smells almost identical to the Mugler’s Alien,” she wrote. “£3.99 in B&M!
“There were a few others like Jean Paul Gautier, Sauvage, Chanel, etc.”
When asked about the longevity of the scent, Nicole candidly replied: “Personally, no perfume lasts long on me, no matter the price.
“That’s just my skin, I can’t speak for others.
“But for the price I don’t think you can go wrong.”
Fortunately, a number of perfume fans were quick to affirm under Nicole’s post that the scent lingers long after it has been spritzed.
“I’ve got this,” Diane Ray said. “It smells amazing and it lasts.”
By comparison, a 90ml bottle of Mugler Alien EDP will set you back £125.
“Alien by Mugler diffuses peace and magic in its scent, thanks to its talisman fragrance,” a blurb on the luxury fragrance reads.
“Alien is a talisman capable of revealing the light and creative force of every woman.
“It illuminates the women who wear it with an extraordinary halo.
“The rich and sensual notes of the Alien perfume reflect the feminine force: a powerful floral scent of jasmine linked to woody and amber notes.”
